This page explains what data we collect about you when you visit this website or contact us, why, and for how long.
Controller

Contact form
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and nothing more. We use these only to answer your enquiry, which is our legitimate interest. The message is sent straight to our inbox through the email service Resend; the website itself does not store it or keep a copy. It stays in our inbox for as long as we need it to answer and follow up.
Booking request
The booking form asks for your name, email address, optionally a phone number, guest count, dates and optionally a message. We use these to answer your request and decide whether we can confirm the dates — a step before a possible contract. We keep the data in our database at Cloudflare, in the EU. We send a confirmation to your email that the request has arrived, and we receive a notification of the new request.
We delete a declined or unanswered request 30 days after the decision or the check-in date. For a confirmed booking, we delete your details 12 months after your stay; the dates stay so those dates remain booked.
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, using the contact details on this page.
Bot check
The contact and booking forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell a real person from a bot, so the forms are not filled with spam. To do this, Turnstile looks at your IP address and some browser signals, such as the browser version. Cloudflare’s own Turnstile privacy notice describes this as strictly necessary for the check, and a strictly necessary tool needs no separate cookie consent.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses for this, for example in ordinary server logs and to stop attacks. Our own logs never hold what a visitor types into the site or a form.
Statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site. It uses no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track you across other websites; it only shows us overall visit counts.
Cookies
Beyond what Turnstile strictly needs, this website uses no cookies and does not track you for advertising. That is why we show no cookie consent banner.
Who processes the data
The following process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, the bot check, statistics and the booking database), Resend (sending email, including booking request confirmations; based in the US, relying on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework), and veebimajutus.ee (Elkdata OÜ), who holds our mailbox. These companies use your data only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to restrict or object to how we use it. Email kati@visitsaastna.ee — we answer within one month. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (www.aki.ee).
